Deoxyribonuclease I efficiently hydrolyzes single-stranded or double-stranded DNA in the presence of divalent cations. Useful in RNA preparations from tissue or bacterial cell cultures, AMRESCO’s DNase I is a chromatographically purified preparation supplied as a lyophilized powder. 

From bovine pancreas and RNase-free. Activity is >1800 U/mg (Kunitz units).

AMRESCO DNase I is available in 50KU and 100KU pack sizes, with 1 KU = 1,000 units (i.e. 100 KU = 100,000 units).
